Most surfaces on which an Acryflor is installed will require some form of preparation to ensure maximum bonding.

Blast Cleaning -
Removal of old coatings, coating residues, adhesives, markings and concrete laitance by blasting with metal pellets leaving the surface prepared to accept a replacement finish. This is a clean process and recommended in most cases.

Planetary Grinder -
Removal of old coatings, levelling of uneven surfaces and concrete/terrazzo polishing.

Diamond Grinding -
Levelling of uneven surfaces, concrete or asphalt surfaces and the preparation of surfaces by the removal of old coatings.

Flailing/Planer -
Used for the removal of resilient or flexible surface finishes where mechanical abrasion is necessary.
